Adventure 1: Ombre Dying

Fabric: Rayon/Lycra/Nylon mix
Dye Brand/Color: Rit Dye - Royal Blue

First try anxiety YEAH. I really was scared out of my mind doing this.
I stared at the vat of dye for like an hour. The dress was soaked in water
before hand to allow the dye to dilute itself at the waist. I started out with
it in a spray bottle, diluted with water. Spraying all the way up to the empire
waist seam and then gradually spraying in more layers downwards. Then I slowly
dunked it into the dye and let it soak for a few minutes. I pulled it out of the bath
every so often because the top of the dress hung out of the dying tray. I basically
just pulled the dress out of the dye bath gradually every few minutes.

Came out great <3
